From People-Pleaser to Pleasure Coach

Here’s the tricky thing about people-pleasing: when you work so hard to make everyone happy, in the process, you compromise your own happiness.  After learning to set boundaries and prioritizing my own self-care, I saw too many women (and men) deny their needs, wondering why they felt depressed, confused, and anxious.  I became a pleasure coach so I could help others see what’s possible and support them toward a life that FEELS GOOD.

First Steps

My journey to becoming a pleasure coach started when my 14-year marriage ended, catalyzed by the question of what I truly wanted in life.  That question led me to wake up in a very big way.  I became aware of my tendency to please everyone else, along with the codependent dynamics I was feeding into.  Once I saw what was happening, I flipped the script and learned how to effectively ‘put myself first’ in the healthiest of ways.  Self-care became non-negotiable and I gave myself permission to go after what I wanted in life.  Through this exploration, in addition to countless hours of coach training and studies of psychology, science, and spirituality, I gained the tools and skills to not only help myself but also to successfully support others who need both clarity and guidance.

We all deserve a life where we move beyond survival and into a state where we THRIVE.

What I Do Now

What has resulted is a blossoming coaching/consulting business where I make it my goal to support people through their darkest, most challenging, and confusing periods of life.  I develop personal relationships with my clients to better understand what they most want and need in order to feel the pleasure and passion that comes from their true desires.  Together we design a custom plan that sets them up to make their dreams a reality.

Challenges & Victories

While my joy may be perfect for me, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect every day.  No matter how hard I try, I just can’t predict the unpredictable…and unpredictable is exactly what life can be sometimes!  Because of the relationships I form with my clients, the hardest days for me are the ones where I witness and counsel a client through life’s obstacles, such as a separation/divorce, mental health issues, or a job loss.  All that being said, it’s incredibly rewarding to see those clients that have become like family reach their goals and break through to new levels of confidence and joy for their future.

If I could sum up my motivation for what I do in one word, it would be GROWTH.  I wake up every day excited to share with the world the possibility of living a life that has a clear direction. One that embodies happiness, meaning, and abundance in all its forms. A reality where you deep dive into connection, intimacy, and bliss.

It's all closer than you may think!
